Applied Motivation

 I. Group and project In my previous work, I was a curriculum specialist in charged of developing math curriculum for a private Singaporean school. My team built the math curriculum including all explanations and exercises for primary and secondary school students.  There are 4 people on my time. Every quarter, we have to finish building a certain grade level curriculum as a project. I am a senior curriculum specialists and there are 2 other curriculum associates working with me and another senior specialist. II. Applied motivation Although motivation was not an issue for that specific group, there are some motivational strategies that were used to get the group to finish the project on time.  1.) Leadership Philosophy

Leadership Philosophy Generally, I believe the four essential qualities of a good leader are: Generalist knowledge, Courage, Integrity, and Wisdom.  In term of particular philosophies, I believe that leadership styles are drastically different depending on the telos or goal of the task, and the situation. The primary distinction is between leadership in creation or leadership in destruction because the art of creation is fundamentally different in nature from the art of destruction. A manager involved in the business of creating values will have different priority and concerns in leadership over a manager involved in the business of destroying values.  If a society itself is organized primarily for war and destruction, then the best method of organization is coercive top down approach with authoritarian/autocratic leadership, because this style of leadership is most suitable for wholesale destruction.   Good Leaders Tuan Vu Nguyen         Instead of telling you tall tales of dead men, I will tell you about the truths that live. There are three living leaders that I want to put on this list. They are all alive, and their fates are intertwined with those of ordinary, humble folks all around you.  1.) Donald Trump 45th president of the United States, and also the legitimate 46th. The man needs little introduction.  No mortal is free of faults.
